About us

The team helping Virginia businesses get found

The team behind Virginia SEO Co. has worked in SEO since 2009. We bring that experience to campaigns planned around your services, the customers you want and the places your business can cover.

Experience applied to your business

A search campaign starts with understanding what an inquiry is worth to you. The right next step for a business serving one town can be very different from the next step for a company with several service lines. We use the initial review to decide what needs attention, which pages should carry the offer and how much search coverage a monthly plan can support.

The team's experience includes more than 15,000 clients served and 28,500 websites promoted. Those figures describe the team's work across its clients and years. They are not a count of Virginia campaigns. On this site, the case studies identify the business type, location, plan and duration supported by each campaign record, so you can judge how closely a result relates to your situation.

What we ask before recommending a plan

Send your website, business details and the services you want to grow. Tell us where you can take on customers, whether customers visit you and what a useful inquiry looks like. If the problem is that people ask for a service you no longer provide, that matters as much as a low ranking. If a busy schedule limits the jobs you can accept, we need to know that too.

We review the site, its search priorities and the competing pages before recommending a starting scope. A plan has a fixed keyword and delivery allowance; it should be matched to a manageable set of targets. You can ask for a custom quote when the number of pages, markets or websites goes beyond the listed packages. Requesting a survey or a quote does not purchase a service.

Putting the service territory on the page

Virginia businesses often describe their coverage with a region name, while customers need to know whether a particular address is included. We ask where your team actually goes and where travel affects the job. A location in your mailing address should not become a promise to cover every nearby town, and a service-area page should give a prospective customer information they can use.

For a business serving several places, we organize the page plan around services and customer needs. We look for opportunities to explain availability, job requirements and the route to an inquiry. Adding the same paragraph under a different city heading does little to help someone choose you. You supply the details that make those pages accurate, including any limits on the services or areas advertised.

What happens in the first month

Once the scope is agreed, we confirm the selected plan, target pages and account access. Google Business Profile work, citation building and cleanup, and review requests are included in every SEO tier. The plan determines the keyword and link quantities, how many websites it covers and any additional research or checks. The package comparison shows those differences before you make a request.

The first delivery establishes the campaign's starting priorities. Profile details may need attention, an existing service page may need a clearer purpose, or the target list may need narrowing. We agree those priorities against the purchased scope. Website development and monthly content writing have their own prices and requirements; choosing an SEO plan does not automatically include a redesign or a separate writing subscription.

Delivery windows describe when the package work is delivered. Search results can take months and depend on the starting website and competition. We do not treat the end of a delivery window as a deadline for reaching page one. As the campaign continues, your feedback about the inquiries you receive helps distinguish useful progress from visits that do not fit the business.

How outreach and reporting work

Guest posts are articles placed through outreach on other people's websites, with links to your site. The publishers are independent sites we do not own. Selection should consider relevance to the topic and whether the destination page is useful to the reader. Web 2.0 pages are separate link assets published on high-authority publishing platforms. Amplification links point to those articles and platform pages, rather than directly to your website.

Your monthly report lists each placed link with its live URL, target page and anchor text. That lets you open the placement, see where it points and understand the wording used in the link. The report gives you a record of the delivered campaign assets. Bring questions about a placement or target to us by email so they can be discussed in the context of your plan.

When reviewing progress, keep business outcomes in view. An increase in visits is useful only if it helps reach the customers you want. Share what you can about inquiry quality, booking patterns or services being requested. We can use that information in planning, without claiming that every inquiry came from SEO or that a previous client's percentage improvement predicts your next month.

Your accounts and your choice to continue

Your domain, website, content and Business Profile remain yours. Keep owner access and invite us with the permissions needed for the agreed tasks. Before a website project, confirm who controls the domain and hosting and what is needed for launch. Account access should support the service you purchased; it should not require giving up ownership of your business assets.

SEO plans run month to month with no setup fee. You can cancel by email, and there is also a one-month option without a subscription. The request form records your service and billing choice; payment happens through a link sent separately. If you need to change scope, contact us before the next period so we can discuss which plan or quote fits the new requirements.

Where we draw the line

We do not guarantee a ranking, a lead count or a date for results. We will not invent an office, client history or qualification for a page. Review work means asking real customers for feedback and helping with responses. It does not mean buying reviews, writing them for customers or asking only people likely to leave a positive rating.

We may serve more than one business in the same area or industry. We do not sell exclusive territories. Each client's data, reports and campaign plans stay separate and are not shared with another client. Our services cover search, content, websites and reputation support; paid advertising and social media management are outside that offer.

Working together by email and scheduled calls

Email is the starting point for questions, survey requests and campaign discussions. Include your website and enough detail for us to understand the decision you are trying to make. If a conversation would be easier, use the call request form to choose phone or video and a preferred time. A requested slot is confirmed by email before the call takes place.

Compare the plans, read a relevant campaign and send us the question you still need answered. You do not need to select a tier before requesting the free site survey. The useful starting point is a website, a service area and a description of the customers you want to reach.
