Privacy policy

This policy covers virginiaseo.company, run by Virginia SEO Co. ("we"). It explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• What you type into a form or the chat assistant: your name, email, business name, website, the places you serve, your message, and for a call request your preferred day, time and time zone, phone or video preference, and phone number if you request a phone call.
• Chat: the assistant stores the conversation in your browser tab. If you submit a question for a reply, we receive the contact details, website and question you submit, the page you are on and the conversation transcript, including typed questions and selected topics shown in the conversation.
• The order form: the package and billing choice you picked. We take no card details on this site; payment happens later through a link we email you.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

We don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we don't sell or rent your information.

Why we use it

To answer you, prepare the survey or quote you asked for, arrange the call you requested, and, if you become a client, deliver and report on the work. We send you email about your request; we don't add you to a newsletter.

Who processes it for us

• Brevo sends our emails (the notification to us and the reply to you) and keeps a contact list of people who wrote to us, as a backup of our inbox.
• Cloudflare runs the Turnstile spam check on our forms and forwards mail sent to support@virginiaseo.company.
• Vercel hosts the website and its form handlers.

These providers process data to deliver hosting, spam protection and communications under their own terms and privacy policies. Our email service also stores messages sent to our inbox.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The Turnstile spam check may use what it needs to tell people from bots. The chat assistant uses your browser tab's session storage to retain the conversation as you move between pages or reload. You can remove that stored conversation by closing the tab or clearing the site's browser storage. This does not delete a question or transcript you have already submitted to us.

Do Not Track

The site does not change its behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Submitted messages, transcripts and lead records may remain in our inbox and contact backup after a conversation ends. We do not currently apply a fixed automatic deletion schedule to these records. Retention depends on the request, any ongoing client relationship and recordkeeping needs. Contact us to ask about a specific record or request deletion.

Your choices

Email support@virginiaseo.company to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We may need information to verify the request before disclosing or changing a record. We will explain any information we need to retain and any limits on deletion. Clearing browser storage does not remove records already emailed to us.

Children

This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
