What the link types mean
  • Guest posts: Articles placed through outreach on other people's websites, each with a link to yours.
  • Web 2.0 pages: Pages we publish for you on high-authority publishing platforms, linking to your site.
  • Amplification links: Second-tier links aimed at those articles and pages (never straight at your site) so they get found and indexed.
  • Each link shows up in your monthly report: live URL, the page it points to and its anchor text.

Compare every detailHow we work

Plan the pages before choosing the layout

Start with your current website and the actions visitors should take. A service business may need a quote request; a rental may need a route to its booking provider. We list the pages, required assets and integrations in the quote so you can review the scope before work starts.

After the page plan, we build and share the site for your review. Before launch, we check the agreed forms, mobile layouts and page links, and plan redirects for replaced URLs. The schedule depends on the approved scope, access and content readiness. Ongoing SEO is a separate service, with results assessed over months.

Keeping useful pages during a redesign

A redesign should start with an inventory of the current URLs and the purpose of each page. Keep a useful address where possible; plan a suitable redirect when it changes. Confirm who manages the domain and hosting before launch, and retain your own access. Booking systems, additional content and unusual integrations need to be included in the written quote rather than assumed to fit the starting price.

Explore example layouts and plan your website project

Two ways to organize a service website

These annotated layouts are illustrative planning examples, not client websites or portfolio projects. They show how information can support a quote request or a booking decision. The boxes represent content sections, not a finished design. Your page structure depends on the services you offer, the information customers need and the features included in your quote.

Illustrative layout: a service inquiry page
  1. 1. Service and coverage

Name the service and the places you actually cover. Give the reader enough detail to decide whether the page fits the job before asking for contact information.

  2. 2. Request a quote

Place the primary action beside the service introduction. Explain what information the customer will need and what happens after a request. This diagram contains no working form.

  3. 3. Scope and evidence

Describe what the service includes and any important exclusions. Add genuine project photos or approved reviews when available, with accurate labels and permission to use them.

  4. 4. Questions before an inquiry

Answer practical questions about access, preparation and availability. Repeat the quote action after these answers so a reader does not have to return to the top.

On a phone, these sections remain in this reading order. The quote action should stay easy to find without covering service details or controls.

Illustrative layout: a property booking page
  1. 1. Property introduction

Use a real property image and a short description of its location and suitability. State only amenities and features the owner has confirmed.

  2. 2. Availability route

Show where visitors check dates and prices. If booking happens with another provider, make that destination clear. A booking integration must be included in the project scope.

  3. 3. Details that affect the stay

Organize verified information about access, parking, facilities and house rules. Keep important restrictions near the booking decision rather than hiding them in an image.

  4. 4. Help before booking

Provide a route for questions the availability system cannot answer. Explain whether the visitor is requesting information or making a confirmed reservation.

This is a proposed information order, not a claim about booking performance. No property, availability, customer identity or results are invented for the example.

What to prepare for the page plan

Begin with the services customers already ask you about. List what each service includes, who it suits and anything that changes the quote. Supply the correct business name, service territory, opening hours and preferred inquiry route. For photographs, tell us what they show and whether you have permission to publish them. A useful page can be built around verified details without inventing a testimonial or showing a stock image as completed client work.

Next, separate existing material from content that needs writing. You may have a service list but no descriptions, or a good brochure whose wording needs adapting for a smaller screen. Identify who will check the business facts and approve the copy. New writing, image preparation and specialist content review should be discussed in the quote so the starting design price does not become an assumption about everything included.

Discuss my website scope

Decide what happens after each click

A quote form, an email link and a booking system solve different problems. Choose the action that matches how your business handles new customers. A short inquiry may need only contact details and a description of the job; a booking provider may need dates and guest numbers. Ask for information because it helps handle the request, and explain the next step before the visitor submits it.

If the site connects to an outside system, confirm who owns that account and whether it has subscription fees. The website quote should identify the integration and its intended behavior. Do not assume that a design project includes the outside provider's charges, a custom customer portal or ongoing administration. Those requirements need their own discussion before the scope is agreed.

Review the page on a phone

During review, follow the page as a customer would: identify the service, find an answer and reach the inquiry action. Check that headings make sense without the pictures, that text remains readable when enlarged and that the layout does not force ordinary paragraphs to scroll sideways. A diagram can suggest an order, but the finished page needs checking with its actual wording, images and controls.

Review forms with the keyboard as well as a pointer. Labels should explain what each field needs, errors should identify what to correct, and a successful submission should explain what happens next. If a booking link leaves the website, verify that it reaches the intended property or service. These are review tasks for the agreed functionality, not a promise that every outside system can be redesigned.

Launch with an agreed handover

Before replacing a site, confirm the domain and hosting access, the pages being retained and the destination for each changed URL. Check the inquiry destination with the business owner. Keep useful content accessible while changing the presentation; a visual refresh is not a reason to discard a page customers still need. Review the launch schedule against content approvals and any outside provider involved.

At handover, confirm how you will manage the site and which accounts remain under your control. Discuss future updates and support explicitly, including any separate charges. Website design gives you an agreed set of pages and features. Ongoing search campaigns, additional articles and later integrations are separate decisions. Questions

What goes into your website quote questions

Ask us on a call
Does the starting website price cover every project?

No. It is a starting price for website design, paid once. The final quote depends on the pages, features, content and integrations you need. We agree the scope before starting.

Is monthly SEO required with a new website?

No. The design quote and SEO plans are separate. You can request a website on its own, or add a plan after discussing search priorities.

Can an entry SEO plan compete after launch?

Groundwork or One County may suit a narrow initial target. A new website in a crowded market may need Corridor, Multi-Region, Full Map or custom work. A redesign does not create an automatic ranking advantage.

Can I cancel the monthly plan?

Yes. Plans run month to month, with no setup fee. Email us to cancel. The plan cards also offer one month only without a subscription.

Will you also work with my competitors?

We may work with another business in your area or industry. Your data, reports and campaign plans are kept separate and are not shared with another client.

Who controls my accounts, and are results guaranteed?

You retain ownership of your domain, website and Business Profile. We request the access needed for the agreed tasks. We cannot guarantee a position, lead count or date for results.

Who manages the website project and later SEO?

The team reviews your requirements, agrees the page and feature scope, and shares the website for your approval before launch. You provide business facts and access to the accounts you control. If you add ongoing SEO, its campaign scope is agreed separately; questions can be discussed by email or scheduled call.

Does website design include link building or guarantee link safety?

Website design covers the pages and features in the agreed quote. Link deliveries belong to a separately selected SEO plan. For that work, reports identify each placement and its destination so you can inspect them. We do not promise risk-free rankings or treat a new design as evidence that links will perform.

Can a redesigned website appear in AI answers?

A redesign cannot secure inclusion in an AI answer. We can organize the agreed pages so visitors can understand your services, coverage and inquiry options. You confirm the facts before publication. Any ongoing content or SEO work is separately scoped, with no promise that an AI service will cite the website.
